I love chickpeas. I love how versatile they are. I love how easy they are to cook. I love that the word for them in German literally translates to ‘giggle peas’. There’s a lot to love about these little guys – so let’s take a look at some of the wonderful things you can make from them.
Zwiebelkuchen (onion pie) traditionally contains non-vegan ingredients such as bacon, milk and eggs. Whilst you’ll sometimes be able to get hold of vegetarian onion cake, a vegan version is much less common – so making it yourself is your best bet!
